Meet the Team

Dental Hygienist-Tammy, RDH

Tammy received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Milwaukee Area Technical College.  Tammy had the pleasure of working in the Lake Geneva area prior to joining the Burlington Dental Arts Team.  Tammy has a passion for dentistry that’s evident in her ability to care for patients in a comfortable atmosphere and educate them about their dental care.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her kids’ extracurricular activities, and fostering and raising Huskies.  So you are likely to see her out and about in the great community of Burlington, WI.

Dental Hygienist-Marilee, RDH

Marilee received her first technical diploma from Gateway Technical College’s Dental Assisting program.  After taking some time off to raise her family, Marilee returned to school and received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Milwaukee Area Technical College.  She is currently working on her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University.  Marilee believes that staying current and up to date on products and procedures helps her to provide the best possible care to her patients.  After 10 years of full time hygiene and management in the Lake Geneva area, Marilee enthusiastically accepted a part time position with the Burlington Dental Arts team.  This allows her to continue what she loves to do in caring for her patients, as well as helping her husband in his business, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Marilee is a lifetime resident of Burlington, Wisconsin.  She and her husband, Phil, have raised their four children here who are now all grown and living here and in the Milwaukee area.  Marilee enjoys reading, entertaining, gardening, and mostly spending time with her family and friends.

Dental Assistant-Ali

Alisha (Ali) has been a dedicated dental assistant for 17 years and brings both experience and heart to our Burlington Dental Arts’ team. She goes by Ali, a name that fits her friendly, approachable nature perfectly. Ali was drawn to dentistry early in her career because she loved the balance of hands-on patient care and the opportunity to help people feel more confident and comfortable with their smiles.

Known for her great sense of humor and calming presence, Ali has a natural ability to put even the most anxious patients at ease. She excels at helping patients understand treatment recommendations and takes pride in explaining procedures in a way that feels clear, reassuring, and never overwhelming.

Outside of the office, Ali enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her chickens, and baking and cooking at home. When she’s not in the kitchen or the coop, you’ll likely find her with a good book—especially mystery, thriller, or fantasy novels.  Fun fact about Ali, she can still rock a clarinet!

Ali’s compassion, experience, and ability to connect with patients make her a wonderful addition to our dental family.

Patient Treatment Coordinator-Shannon

Shannon’s extensive insurance knowledge, dedication to advancing in the dental field, and personalized approach to patient education make her an invaluable asset!

Shannon can be found spending time with her husband and kids. They love just about anything outdoors: Off-roading in their UTV, fishing, hunting, camping, biking, hiking, you name it! Recently Shannon has entered the world of keeping bees and harvesting honey. Shannon can’t wait to help make you feel comfortable at your dental visits and would love to hear your best road trip recommendations!

After moving back to her home town of Burlington, Wisconsin she joined the Burlington Dental Arts team in fall of 2018.

Helen can often be found acting like a translator between the dental team and the patients; she finds her dental assisting background comes in handy when explaining treatment and answering questions.  She is always happy to remind you of your upcoming appointments, greet you with a smile, or talk football while you wait for your appointment.
